Also provides a method of safe crossing for constant vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Separates and organizes each cable or hose line in its own protective channel to ensure safety. Protects cords from 1.3 up to 2.25 inches in diameter. Features Dog Bone Connectors, patented 5-bar tread surface and hinged lid for easy cable placement. The 3-Channel protector has a load capacity of 14,210 lbs/tire while the 5-Channel protector withstands 10,500 lbs/tire. Constructed from all weather polyurethane and features safety warning symbols that are molded into lid surface. Ideal for use in amusement parts, entertainment venues, sporting events, and in most public, commercial, industrial, construction and utility applications. Meets NEC Requirements and is ADA Compliant. CAUTION: Ramp angle on 3 channel protectors is fairly steep. If forklifts or other vehicles with small wheels will be crossing these protectors, Cross-Guard ADA compliant ramps are highly recommended.
